It's not unusual to see a player move on from his drafting team and develop. He just doesn't fit with us.

Look at shabazz or harkless

Or Seth curry

Or e'tuan Moore

WOW.... The UCF South Florida game has been fantastic........

I guess we'll have to wait another week before we see if the Gators (or Huskers) pry Scott away.

eh I don't know if the limit has to be .500 by January first but we probably need to be within striking distance of that to survive January. the benchmark needs to be something like 17-20 so if we go 4-9 in January and 5-6 in February we at least have a fighting chance of going 11-10 in March and April which could get us into the playoffs if the east sucks.

I hope we can be close to that pace. The risk will be if we hit a stretch where we lose a few games in a row. The way this team has been conditioned to lose these past five years, you wonder if they would have the mental toughness to rebound from a difficult stretch, or if it would snowball into something worse.

Guess we're seeing again why tanking is a high-risk strategy.  A few losses and our guys give up.  We appear to be stuck in basketball purgatory.  I guess the idea about a few changes making our bench much better, combined with a big improvement in our starting unit as evidenced by what they did after the AS break last year, is not turning out to be very accurate.

The Magic sure look like they have direction as of late (including pre-season). This Magic team has learned to gel and have recently found a system that works while improving the bench. Simple. Truth.

Pure garbage. Early season was a fluke. Team needs to be dismantled.

Build around Gordon, Isaac, and Simmons.

Will the real Catalina please stand up??

Would you trade Fournier + Vuc to Dallas for Barnes and Noel? That trade would improve our D immediately.

No because if you trade for Noel you don't get his bird rights.  The most you can offer him is the mle. So he's gone.  Barnes, ehhhh. That's a lot of money to be adding unless you figure he opts out of his contract in 2019.

It's not a terrible idea.  Dallas might do it.

Why blame tanking? Philly seems unaffected with no bad habits and teams like okc with stars who've all been there before aren't plaything like they know how to win.

Blame vucevic and his attitude that's been there from day 1.

Also the team is much better than last year

Not lately. We are getting blown out by teams early the last few games.

Look the big changes have been:

1) Payton starting

2) Isaac missing in second unit

Yeah but it's more than that. There's an mentality that has plagued this team for a while now.
