He sucks.

And Hezonja was literally the worst player in the NBA last year. If he continues to suck he is a 4M expiring on top of Vuc/Ross' 23M.

I know. Dude has gotten worse every year.

Yep, and is not like the Magic organization is known to have patience in developing “potentials”.

This is not even a lateral move. It is a move of us giving away an expiring player for on year rookie contract. If they do that, then the no extension on Hezonja move looks even worse.

Can't compare the two. Mudiay sucks because he just suckS. Mario suckED because he was  getting the yoyo treatment.

Let’s say we are able to get brogdon from the bucks. Who would you be looking to pair him with in the draft. Brogdon, Doncic, Isaac, AG, Biyombo doesn’t seem like a bad squad to build around. Brogdon, Ross, Isaac, AG, Ayton also doesn’t sound too bad.

There isnt a single scenario that we shouldnt go BPA.

It would definitely make Biyombo happy. They play together on the Congo national team

You know what makes Biyombo happy? The 17 mills a year he is currently getting. I dont think getting him happier is of any concern

We would be trading and paying for a guy that's expected to suck even harder next season.

Lol to the person thinking DEN would trade Jokic in that string.  Also, Mudiay for Elfrid is the definition of a lateral move.

Mudiay for Payton isn't anywhere close to lateral move, that comparison just shows that the Elfrid hate on this forum has gone too far.

Yeah, compared to Mudiay, EP sucks less.

Elfrid is a decent point guard offensively who has a fatal flaw in this P&R defense and his  lack of aggression at times. Mudiay is just all around bad, and Mudiay has averaged 25 minutes per game for his career, so lack of play time is not really an argument for his poor play.

The difference between Mario and mudiay is Mario was a victim of franchise ambition, he wasn't given a leash to play through mistakes.

Mudiay was given every opportunity to play through his mistakes and is still bad.

All we have from mudiay is a year in China where he was really bad, two years in Denver where he was really bad and a couple months this year when he was bad enough for Denver to give up on him.

Im not sure mudiay is a better bet than Payton suddenly figuring things out

that clips deal is not bad honestly. Right now that pick is #8; that's like the Sexton/Bamba/Bridges tier. Could go either way though tbh.

They probably don't want to do it because they have FA plans. Aside from Harris everyone else they took back was expiring I believe.

In exchange for Thomas, Jae Crowder and the Brooklyn Nets’ first-round pick, the Cleveland Cavaliers should receive Gordon and Payton.

IT will probably walk after the season, so it's essentially Crowder and a late lottery pick.  This is about as bad as the proposed Phoenix trade.
