I honestly have no issues with Doc running things as a GM/POBO but he can't coach on top of that.

Why? All he's shown is the ability to be the worst gm in the league. You'd be in favor of hiring the worst gm in the league to be gm? It makes no sense

Worst GM? Worst coach, sure but far from worst GM. Unfortunately Blake and Jordan aren't what CP3 needs next to him unless you want a sick highlight tape.

no. you got it backwards.

He's a fine coach with a lot of experience now. He's the worst GM in the league. He inherited a deep team with Paul, Blake, Deandre, Crawford, barnes, caron butler, Bledsoe, billups. He made the JJ trade which was good. then he made a series of bad moves. Signing Glen Davis in 2014. Signing Hedo in 2014. trading a really solid role player in Jared Dudley with the 23rd pick this year to cut salary. So he signs Spencer Hawes in 2014 then in 2015 he trades Hawes and barnes to charlotte for lance Stephenson. Then in the same season he trades Stephenson with their 2019 pick for Jeff Green. He did the same thing with Josh smith. Signed and traded in the same season just to get rid of him. Then he decided to sign Bass, Raymond Felton, and Dorrell Wright this year.

He's the king of getting guys 3-4 years too late then using draft picks to get rid of them. The consequence of this is the Clippers are the oldest team in the league and they play like it.

Not making those moves doesn't have them beating GS, SA, or OKC over the past 3-4 years. Blake and Deandre are not going to win you a championship. He got Crawford when he was 32.

1. that doesn't make sense. In your scenario there are 3 good GMs in the league.

2. better moves might result in a better chance to beat those teams.

3. Paul, Blake, and Deandre is absolutely enough to win you a championship if you surround them with proper teammates.

Sources on @TheVertical: Orlando interested in Cleveland GM David Griffin, who's without a contract for next year.

Wut?

Easy...he signed Lebron!

He had no role besides being a warm body to give LeBron the contract. LeBron was gonna sign regardless. It was about his legacy.

My 3 year old could've done that.

Cleveland guys are pushing back on this but here's what I think.

It's really easy to make ancillary moves when you have Lebron, Kyrie, Tristan Thompson, and Kevin love as that was pretty much a done deal as soon as LeBron signed. He's by no means an incompetent GM as we've seen incompetent GMs ***** up sure things. But taking that roster and saying "we need shooting and defense" and trading extra pieces for shooting and defense is much different than walking into our situation and having to question everything. And he's not going to have a star player threatening him to make moves, unlimited money, and a top 3 free agent destination to work with.

The Magic are using Jed Hughes of the Korn Ferry search firm to gather information on the process, but Martins has been significantly engaged in the identification and vetting of candidates, league sources sat

We're *****ed.

Just keep Lloyd Alex. You're going to screw this up otherwise.
