The new Cavs GM is feisty. He's using this to get more outta Boston. Rape and pillage. The Ainge way. Time he gets a taste of his own medicine. I hate the Celtics.

The NBA is FANtastic. I agree with you on the Celtics and I hate the Lakers too!!! Hoping the Cavs void this deal so we can have drama back! Just think Cavs/Celts feud, Lakers investigated for tampering (Can we bring back the tampering with Shaq charge?), this is great drama. Who and what else does everyone else hate?

the problem with this thought process is it considers Vucevic's ridiculous mid-range shooting in 14-15 and 15-16 to be who he is rather than weird peaks. I don't think it's right to expect him to hit 48% of his deep twos. 42% seems closer to what we should expect.

The way he'll bounce back is taking more shots at the rim but I'm not sure that will have a positive team impact as posting a guy up hurts ball movement. Also, putting him at the rim underutilizes his passing.

So it's kinda a catch 22 and why I don't think he'll bounce back. More deep twos = lower scoring efficiency but better passing and better team offense. More post play = higher scoring efficiency but worst passing and worse team offense.

Love the fact that Gordon is playing with the best players. Has to help him! I am excited about Issac and Gordon eventually playing at the same time.

Im so happy to see this! Come on October get here already!

Former University of Connecticut shooting guard Rodney Purvis has agreed to a partially guaranteed deal with the Magic, league sources told Ian Begley of ESPN.com. The contract includes an Exhibit 10 clause, which would give Purvis a bonus if he’s waived and then signs with the Lakeland Magic, their G-League affiliate, Begley adds (Twitter links).

The Exhibit 10 clause also gives Orlando the ability to convert Purvis’ camp deal into a two-way contract prior to the season, Jared Weiss of CelticsBlog.com tweets.

Purvis, who began his college career at North Carolina State, is a longshot to make the Magic’s opening-day roster. He went undrafted after his senior year with the Huskies. The 6’4” Purvis averaged 13.8 PPG, 4.2 RPG and 2.5 APG last season. He appeared in two games with the Jazz’s summer-league team in Las Vegas but only scored one point.
