His mid range shooting went up last year drastically from31% to 45% 10-16 feet. He shows signs.

Stop with the fancy numberatin', players don't improve incrementally they just evolve like Pokemon

Because that is a myth we made up to have someone to blame for us sucking

It's not a myth.

Stats were actually dissected and showed that Fournier passes to Vuch 60% of the time.

The recipient who got the least amount of Fournier's passes?

AG

No. This team is being built as elite defense. AG is elite defense. AG will surpass Iriving in a couple years as far as importance to a team. You'll see.

What evidence exists that shows him as an elite defender? I'm not saying he won't become indispensable one day but currently he is the definition of replaceable. His offensive game is pretty nonexistent and that is worth more than defense anyway

You mean the horribly miscast primary creator on the wing passed it to the guy who lead the team in scoring the year before in the post, over the guy standing in the corner that shoots 29% from 3?

Vuc averaged 18 a game the year before, Fournier 15.4. We traded Oladipo for Ibaka who averaged 12.6 a game and who we drank the Kool-Aid on being able to do anything other than hit wide open shots next to two HOF talents. Then you have Payton with no spacing and Gordon playing out of position. Then you hand that offensive recipe for disaster to Frank Vogel.

That's why the offense was way better with Ross on the floor and EP's role increased with space to operate.

Yea idk why the big fuss with Fournier passing to Vuch. He's clearly the best offensive player in that starting lineup to pass to.

Do we really need to have this discussion every week? I'm sick of posting the same metrics

No the 2nd-3rd option player who is allergic to defense ignoring a wide open anyone not named Vuch but IS playing defense so he can dump it to a non defensive playing Vuch who has one defender on his back and another defender within steps of a double 15ft out from the basket.

Vogel didn't run many plays last year.
