Gimping in as a crap 8 seed in the crap east just to get swept in the first round isn't an accomplishment. That's the goal ownership set for better or worse. Nobody looked at this roster before the season and said "Game over. It's time to contend" Winning in the regular season can be manufactured with defense. Winning in the playoffs requires a guy who can improvise on offense along with being good at both offense and defense. Didn't play in second half. Payton was invisible up until a point in the second half. Then he played great. Then, when we needed a stop late in the game, he almost literally fell asleep.
