Voodoo Man 99 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 we don't have the lockerroom to handle him. I would take that chance to get one of the best players in the NBA, but it's a moot point because we don't have the trade chips to make it happen.

Soul Bro 1,419 Report post Posted November 7, 2016 This should be a popular trade*: http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jdct8y9 I love Hayward but imagine Henny believes Fournier is developing into a similar player.
Murphy13 185 Report post Posted November 8, 2016 ok so I get where you're going with this and it basically hinges everything on the main question with Hayward's career "is Hayward a primary offensive option on a good/great team" second, can you obtain the necessary players to hide Hayward on defense? finally, does it make sense to trade for a guy you could pursue in free agency this summer. what makes Gordon Hayward different than caron butler? Corey Maggette? These are good questions, and no one knows for sure. I think Hayward is probably better and more marketable than Butler/Maggette. His downside would be #2 scorer I think, which is still pretty good. Watching his game now and even though its Philly he isn't a slouch defender. I thought he had two years left, I guess he has an opt out.

Fine but not someone you want defending LeBron, Durant, or even harris
