Effective field goal percentage because it accounts for 3s being worth more than twos. This makes more sense to use because a hypothetical player who shoots only threes at 40% is the equivalent of a hypothetical player who shoots only twos at 60%

Ok, fair enough. The rating isn't that terribly different in any case. Not in the top 100 forwards in the league using either method.

 

On a separate note, looks like the game tonight is extremely late, starting at 10:30 our time. But our guys have surely been there long enough to get acclimated, so that should not be an excuse. Guess I'll find out what happened tomorrow, since no way I'm gonna be able to stay up late enough to watch more than the first quarter or so.
