Monday night was not Aaron Gordon's time. Not yet.

 

Monday night was still the Warriors' time. They were going to make NBA history with a 45th straight home-court regular season victory at Oracle Arena. The Warriors were the main attraction. Gordon? As an opposing player with the Orlando Magic, he was just part of the supporting cast.

 

But it will be his time eventually. Maybe sooner than anyone thinks. Gordon is only 20 years old, the 17th youngest player in the league, just three years removed from the layup line at Archbishop Mitty High in San Jose. And he is already a starting forward for an NBA team.

 

"I've never played here," Gordon said before Monday's tipoff. "That's why I'm so excited ... I remember dreaming of running out of the tunnel here. So this is a dream come true."
