West coast trips and late season schedule are what I'm looking for. A favorable last month of the season might be the difference between making the playoffs or not.

January and February. Those are the most important months to know for sure if this team is capable.

Schedule is out. We get screwed early but I couldn't ask for a better final quarter of the season. Last 20 games we play 1 west coast team of importance (Memphis). We also play Cleveland and Chicago and Miami a couple times. But no heavy hitters really. We could conceivably finish the season on a 14-6 stretch. Problem is we could start the season 1-5. February is really tough. We could start that month off 0-7.

This schedule is going to make the board really manic. There's a lot of chances for 5 game losing streaks followed by 5 game winning streaks.

Actually, final 30 games are really kind to us.

If we can survive the first 52 games and go something like 21-31 I think there's a really good shot we make the playoffs

We completely avoid Atlanta, Houston, clippers, pelicans, okc, San Antonio, and Utah post all star break. That's potentially 6 of the 8 playoff teams in the west.

It's really too soon to tell how manageable the schedule is aside from length of road trips and certain matchups. As a contrast to saying the end of our schedule looks really kind to us: Aside from one contest against Brooklyn, our last 16 games are against likely playoff teams...with Detroit being the big question mark. They are an upcoming team, and I believe well managed. Same can be said for Indy, I think last year was an aberration for them.

I have a feeling the east is going to be much more competitive next year.
