Trey Time 186 Report post Posted June 30, 2015 Thanks, "The Brian" We really like Savannah, so it was the first addition. We've added quite a few places to visit during our road trip. Of course this isn't set in stone yet, as it's a 2 year planning ahead, but we're aiming for March/April 2017. So far, the trip could end up something like this: Fly from Iceland to Pittsburgh Drive to Cleveland, stay for 6 days Drive to Boston (Might need a pitstop between CLE and BOS!), stay for 3 days Drive to New York, stay for 3 days Drive to Philadelphia, stay for 1 day Drive to Baltimore, stay for 1 day Drive to Washington, stay for 2 days Drive to Charlotte, stay for 1 day Drive to Savannah, stay for 2 days Drive to Sarasota, stay for 3-4 days Drive to Miami and the Keys, stay for 2 days Drive to Orlando, stay for 10-14 days Fly home That's quite a roadtrip, I think. If you like baseball, your pit stop between Cleveland and Boston should be Cooperstown.
HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted July 5, 2015 Although I've been to Florida (Orlando) three times, I haven't seen much of Florida yet. I want to spend more time in Sarasota (been there 1-2 hours so far) and I want to see Miami and the Keys. Plus, I just enjoy staying in the Orlando area. Plusplus, Magic. So I think skipping Florida isn't an option hah. Going to New York and down I-95 however is however a really cool option. Might have to check that out more. Already noticed it could add Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington to the list. Really tempting. Go to the Keys. Can't beat Duval street in Key West but also plenty of other nice stops at the keys on the way down. Marathon is a ton of fun too with amazing fishing. AcuWill 45 Report post Posted July 26, 2015 If you spend time in Savannah, go to Wiley's BBQ. He's considered the 4th ranked BBQ in the country. Redneck nachos and ribs baby.

AddiFB 429 Report post Posted August 16, 2015 Thanks for all the tips guys. All noted! We haven't decided on which route we'll take. Still plenty of time until we head on over to the States.
