Murphy13 Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 I legitimately see no potential there at all. He doesn't rebound well, or defend. He doesn't pass well, his handle isn't impressive, and he can't shoot at all from anywhere. Maybe he sticks around as a 12th man, but I'm legitimately not sure he's even that good. 8pts/6rebs in 18 minutes/game during FIBA isn't bad considering his age; I think he will turn out OK, just not a star. It wouldn't take much to be one of the top 10 players from his draft. Quote
~O~ Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 From what I'm hearing, we won't see Aaron Gordon till halfway through the preseason in order to rehabilitate the jaw injury. I don't think Stan Van Gundy should play him during the preseason finals. Quote
Franchero MVP Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 From what I'm hearing, we won't see Aaron Gordon till halfway through the preseason in order to rehabilitate the jaw injury. Really? Damnit Aaron. Quote
Franchero MVP Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 However, I'll give him this; he's a superior offensive rebounder. It's essentially a max contract for elite rebounding which isn't worth it -- at least for us. The only max contact we should be offering right now is for a legit superstar. It might be worth it for Cleveland to overpay him, seeing as he fits well next to Lebron. He got the cavs so many second chance opportunities during the playoffs last year, and that could come in handy when they're fully healthy and ready to contend for a championship. Quote
~O~ Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Well..from watching the vid, I didn't know who the heck Keith Appling was. I thought the kid was an imposter because he wasn't ever on the roster page...till today. Quote
Fultz4thewin Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Really? Damnit Aaron. Yeah, but he's just not cleared for 5 on 5. He's been practicing for a little while now so he's in shape. 1 Quote
jjgator Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 The video of Media Day is going on now. They just interviewed Jason Smith. http://www.nba.com/magic/mediaday Edit: Oops, guess it already happened. I thought it was live at first. Quote
jjgator Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Anyone watch that Gator game? I've seen a lot of crazy comebacks in my 31 years, but that one might be the craziest. I almost feel bad for the Vols(but I don't). We should get embarrassed by Ole Miss next week though, so I guess I'll enjoy it until then(then again, you never know). Quote
Catman Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 I ran into Rob H downtown while he was grabbing lunch. He was super nice and surprised someone outside of the media knew who he was I think..lol. I thanked him for taking Mario and told him it I didn't think he would do it, so it was a pleasant surprise. He seemed cautiously optimistic about the team this year. It's funny I have met most of the Magic players and had drinks with some and it's not a huge deal but I was more excited to run into Hennigan. Think Ill be headed to the Charlotte game to catch a little preseason action. 2 Quote

Fultz4thewin Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Woah did I miss something? Is SVG back or is this a typo? It's a joke in reference to when jameer missed half of the season Quote
