Fultz4thewin Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 I legitimately see no potential there at all. He doesn't rebound well, or defend. He doesn't pass well, his handle isn't impressive, and he can't shoot at all from anywhere. Maybe he sticks around as a 12th man, but I'm legitimately not sure he's even that good. You're probably right. I'm just saying it's not like he's gotten a fair shot and we live in a world where al farouq aminu became a solid starter on a decent team. He went from one terrible situation in Cleveland to another where he was the 5th big man in the rotation and was going to be probably the 7th pf this year in Minnesota if you buy into the bjelica hype. Fultz4thewin Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 But my argument really has nothing to do with Bennett. You can give me any random player under 24 who was a top 5 pick and played less than 18mpg and I'll give him a shot. Quote

Apparently he hasn't signed yet Chris Broussard: Sources: Tristan Thompson is WILLING to sign a 3-year, $53 million deal with the Cavs. Cavs have not yet agreed to the deal. – via Twitter Chris_Broussard Quote

Apparently he hasn't signed yet Oh, I wasn't saying that specifically in regards to his current contract situation with the Cavs. I'm sure that has no bearing on us. I can dream, though. Besides, there's always the possibility of a trade. Quote

Fultz4thewin Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Am I the only one who sees Thompson as an average fifth or sixth man? Quote
