there are a few other "notorious" poster who've been absent for a while ... Jared or Jareth, for example ... what about YBR or YaBoyRich, or something like that, who swore he was Dwight's Twitter confidant? onece the Coward was gone, YBR also swore he'd always be a Magic fan and always around ...

Yeah, I don't remember seeing him much if at all after Dwight was traded.

As long as you don't pretend that you were in favor of drafting Exum at any point. You wanted the Magic to take your boy Randle and you did your little article trolling routine for several months leading up to the draft when it looked like we would take Exum. You even said you would have preferred for us to take Smart.

Logically I don't understand the Exum argument. Assume Henny takes Exum at 4, who does he take at 12 that isn't redundant to a piece already on the roster? He'd have to assume that Gordon, Randle or Vonleh would have been available at 12? Clearly that wasn't going to happen. Was he supposed to take Payne at 12? When you look at last years draft it is hard to imagine how Henny could have gotten more out of that draft without having better lotto luck.

I'm a Nola fan as well. Honestly I never saw anything from Jason Smith that was so bad that I never wanted to see him on a court even in a backup role.

To put it in Magic fan terms, he's not Anthony Johnson. Chill guys.

Have you seen Anthony Johnson dunk? /thread

Yes, Exum sucked last year...Yes, David Thorpe is a respected talent evaluator for ESPN.

As recently as last Thanksgiving he had Exum rated the top talented rookie based on potential.

Click the link to see where he ranks Payton and Gordon:

http://www.slcdunk.com/2014/11/14/7222267/utah-jazz-dante-exum-top-rookie-according-to-espns-david-thorpe

Be interesting to watch next season to see how Gordon and Exum and Payton for that matter develop.

Not trying to start an argument...Exum gets bashed here a lot and deservedly so...just think when it's all said and done it could be a pick Henny regrets if he is still here next season.

Then again, Gordon and Exum both could turn out to be nice players.

It's a situation that bears watching and I certainly plan on it.

GO MAGIC !!!

Why would Hennigan regret it? Why? Exum is a failed experiment at PG and now plays SG for the Jazz a lot. We have Oladipo and Fournier and Hezonja and instead of Exum have Gordon and Payton. Why would Hennigan regret this? Please let us know.

BRich and Catalina....Ha Ha Ha...Re: Magical

I remember too...At the time I was Otis Smith Jr's personal trainer...he attended college 5 minutes from my house.

I had Soul Bro text him if Chris Paul was coming...he texted back...NO NO NO NO NO !!!

Soul posted what he said but by that time everybody was on the Magical train, LOL

GOOD TIMES , as you said !!!

Sure buddy. Lol. You have no idea what you are talking about.

This is a logical post. Some folks here lack that.

I am very excited about the future of AG and Payton and couldn't be happier with those picks. AG looks like he has Blake Griffin+ potential, while Payton looks like a better version of Rondo. Meanwhile, if Mario can shoot like Klay Thompson, great googly moogly. Add in Dipo, Harris and Vooch, and we've got a young stew a-brewin'! I'm not sure all of these pieces fit together, but I love the upside and assets of this team.
