When was Ben Gordon ever considered an investment? That's like buying a 92 civic that runs well enough to get you from point A to point B and then expect it to sell for more than you bought it for. We literally picked him up to get from point A to point B. Nothing else.

He's misguided. You can't just sign the best 15 players possible and expect it to work. Gotta sign guys to fit roles. In this case is signing a guy to play 18 mpg tops

What a ridiculous thing to say. Gordon's contract gave us an opportunity to make a trade if one presented itself. Just because we didn't make the trade doesn't mean the contract was a mistake.

I mean, im not going to sit here and say he's going to be the piece that pushes is over the top but we needed a guy to give us maybe 18 minutes or maybe a dnp on random nights. That's not really a position that people are going to be clamoring for.

 

It's a move for a 14th man who does a really good job of being a 14th man with a smile on his face. That's about all we needed after we signed Harris
