Sources say George Karl would have interest in the Orlando Magic job. In 2005, he took over the Denver Nuggets midseason and went 32-8.

Since we're doing this,

The kid from Valencia had the best questions. They required intelligent answers and weren't straight out of a can. I cringe after every orlando sentinel question beginning with "talk about..."

Agreed. I don't know why it's a habit of the O Sent. to say "talk about.." It's like that's all they "talk about."

Had three different people suggest only way Skiles takes Magic job is if he has control over personnel. Doesn't want to get hosed.

lol @ skiles being good enough to get that dual duty...

So he wants to be like in Stan's position (Pres. of BBall operations and head coach), pretty much.

@AlexKennedyNBA In the past, George Karl had said that he preferred a team out West, but sources say he would be interested because Magic job is attractive.

@stevekylerNBA Spoke with a couple of people close to some of the free agent coaches today... Orlando is attractive to some, because of their roster.

@stevekylerNBA There was doubt expressed by some about who is calling the shots in Orlando and whether that's a smart move for them as coaches.

Who do they think is calling the shots? ---> To them it was unclear. Is it Hennigan? Is it Martins? The DeVos Family? --

@stevekylerNBA One source suggested that Skiles and Jackson sounded more like ownership driven names, not necessary good fits organizationally.

The overall sense in coaching circles is that Magic will try and make it work with James Borrego and evaluate options later.

That's great we're waiting. I'm just happy coaches think we're attractive
