Hiring Skiles seems like a move that would be made over Rob's head from higher up because Skiles is a somewhat known name in coaching and he used to play for us.

I wonder if Borrego is staying on as an assistant under a new coach? Otherwise whats the incentive for him to take this job? It's really a lose-lose situation. He's got no help and has to just take over the team in the middle of the season so the chances are he won't somehow perform a miracle turn around and even if he does get some wins we'll probably hire someone else anyway.
