Fultz4thewin Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 Maybe try a Dedmon, Vuc, Harris frontline with Dipo and Payton in the backcourt. If JV is looking for energy he'll get it from Dedmon. Problem is you have a team that is 3 on 5 on offense Quote
magicblue Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 Problem is you have a team that is 3 on 5 on offense True, although our offense pretty much sucks anyways. Maybe we can win like those Detroit teams did back in the days. I'm not optimistic of anything with JV at the helm. Quote

HeHateMe Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 Idc who we bring in or what lineup changes we make, this team will never be maximized with Vaughn running the show. I'm confident in that. Quote
magicblue Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 Ball movement needs to get better As does the defense Quote

Catman Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 Nik is one of the best at his position, while we could potentially find someone that is better at his weaknesses I don't think the all around package Nik brings comes along very often. A Montrezl Harrell would fit in really nice next to Nik. There is no all around package. Nik is not very good on the defensive side unfortunately. Quote
HeHateMe Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 There is no all around package. Nik is not very good on the defensive side unfortunately. He isn't. But can't we cover that up better if we had an actual defensive minded PF in front of him? What he brings offensively is special from the center position. Quote
Murphy13 Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 There is no all around package. Nik is not very good on the defensive side unfortunately. Sure, you are right. His collective package is still more well-rounded than the majority of centers in today's league. The point stands. Quote

~O~ Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 There is no all around package. Nik is not very good on the defensive side unfortunately. I've noticed this the past 15 games myself. He's not explosive or a guy with quick feet on defense. He's not a premiere shot blocker at all. He's just a guy who could at best play average defense. Channing Frye is not the only culprit for our defensive woes and rebounding woes but Nik is at least an above average rebounder. Quote
Jay Magic Posted January 6, 2015 Report Posted January 6, 2015 Oklahoma City guard Reggie Jackson could be part of a three-way deal for Dion Waiters, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. Quote
