bhnole Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 I have been following the team since the Franchise was awarded and I have to say that last season was the hardest for me to watch of all them. The tanking was obvious that it got comedic at times with players sitting out with incredibly unimpressive ailments. Odd player rotations and line up changes that did everything to disrupt the flow of the game.....not to mention sitting a player who suddenly got a hot hand. I hated it but knew we had to do it for this draft. I don't believe you will see the same thing this season. We will be young but they will let the players play to win and learn from it when they do lose. Quote

We had to tank to get the amount of loses we needed to have the third worse record. I think we are all going to be pleasantly surprised with what this team will be able to achieve once the management tank side of things change. Quote

Attendance was low largely due to the small arena in place at the time mixed with non-contender status. We are in a completely different situation that can only be compared to the expansion years' era of futility-minus the draw of being a new franchise. So, I imagined that 21 win season, and the fantastic 36 win seasons immediately following? Sure, you can claim semantics as say those two were "mid" 2000's and not early, I guess, but it sure seems that last season with T-Mac was pretty futile itself, with only three more wins than out inaugural season. It was indeed a terrible season. I went to some of those games as a kid an wanted to leave after 1 quarter. It was simply horrible basketball. We had 1 good player in TMac and literally everyone else was horrible. Quote
