CTMagicUK 1,480 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 The NBA keep talking about trying to speed the game up or reduce the number of minutes to 40 and all other ideas to try and make games take less time to watch. Why don't they start by starting games on time? NY/CLE were supposed to tip off at 7.30, it's now almost 7.45.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 They're trying to make the original game like the olympics? This isn't the Olympics. This is the NBA. I have no problem with the current time format and there shouldn't be any change. I agree that they need to start the games on times rather than blast forced or subliminal advertisements at viewers. Basically they're cutting their own wrists. To add to that, the reviewing of plays currently extends the game. They should add the fourth referee that should always be at the table....so the refs don't have to waste their time sashaying to the monitor, whirling it around, harken the broadcasting feed, and finally conversing to finalizing their decision. What a mess.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted March 9, 2014 Unusual losses tonight by other teams in the NBA while my second favorite team SAS keeps rolling on the way to becoming the best in the NBA.
CTMagicUK 1,480 Report post Posted March 16, 2014 Oh James Dolan you so silly. I get that Jackson is the Zen Master and has 11 rings etc etc but is it worth paying the guy 12 million dollars a year to be a free agent magnet? Seriously, Jackson is only going to fly to New York twice a month, will have virtually no involvement in the day to day running of the franchise and will just act as the final say in it all, and is in no way going to provide 60 million dollars worth of value over the next five years unless he can somehow attract Lebron this summer. Masaii Ujiri, Sam Presti and RC Buford must be waiting eagerly for their new contracts.

You're completely right but on a scale of Dolan decisions this is probably just average.
CTMagicUK 1,480 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 The Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons have big games coming up, at this point you can't be the team that ends the 76ers losing streak and if both of those teams win the 76ers will have had the longest losing streak in NBA history. Good. They deserve it for deliberately constructing quite possibly the worst NBA roster that has ever existed.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 The Philadelphia 76er's may have a dispute to move that team soon . They better be careful. In fact, here's an article about there situation posted last year but possible some relevance. They may eventually get bought out and moved. Their lease will probably prevent that. http://www.csnphilly.com/basketball-philadelphia-sixers/lease-means-sixers-likely-not-going-anywhere
Emory889 353 Report post Posted March 26, 2014 A full strength Knicks squad gave up 51 points in the 3rd quarter to a Lakers team without Pau Gasol. That is a new level of disgraceful for that team. Carmelo is so gone.

That is a new level of disgraceful for that team. Carmelo is so gone. Just another reason it would be an embarrassment to the league if they still sneak their way into the playoffs. Trey Time 186 Report post Posted April 10, 2014 Hehehe...Heat fans learned that the hand is a part of the ball. Shame LeBron didn't know it, he looked in that interview like Donovan McNabb when he didn't realize the NFL had ties.
