1. Orlando is in a popular retirement area

2. Snow birds (a lot from NY)

3. Popular vacation spot

 

We are not the only team that has this problem though. Most are bad teams. Went to a Jazz Lakers game a 2 years ago in Salt Lake and was amazed that during a pretty close game, Lakers fan were being heard loud and clear.

it happens with all bad-mediocre teams, at the Knicks-Suns game last week the arena erupted when JR Smith hit that game winner

 

when we were competitive it was only Laker games when opposing cheers were audible
