The Official Trade Thread

Gonna miss J.J.

From Alex Kennedy Twitter:

"J.J. Redick told @DavidBaumann33 that he cried when he received the news that ORL had traded him to MIL. He loved Orlando and his teammates."

He cried even more when he saw the weather report there. He won't be there very long. A six month lease should be sufficient.

And then he comes back here...

What I can dream right?

Late to the show, but I like the Reddick trade though. Doesn't this leave us short on bigs now, especially if Warrick is waived?

Not as short as we were when we had Dwight last season (Dwight, Ryan, Baby)

We've got:

PF: Nicholson, Harris, Harrington, (Baby)

C: Vucevic, O'Quinn

That'll do. Providing we don't lose one of Vuc or O'Quinn to injury. Then we'd be getting very light.

Think perhaps Henny is looking to add a D-League big anyway, he mentioned that the empty roster spot from waiving Warrick could be used for that. Don't need a PG (Nelson, Udrih, Moore), SG (Afflalo, Moore, Jones, Lamb), or SF (Harkless, Harris, Jones), so adding a D-League big makes sense.

Hypothetical, we kind of put ourselves in bad positions because of Dwight;

What if, last year at the deadline we traded Dwight, JJ, and Ryan at the same time. What would the return have looked like?
