Matchup of the night: Beasley vs. Afflalo

Thoughts and predictions: Our defense should be focused on containing Dragic and Beasley. I expect to see heavy pick and roll action with Dragic and Gortat/Scola on the receiving end so if we can maintain defensive positioning we should be okay. I think we will see some iso Beasley so Aaron Afflalo must step up and force Beasley to shoot jumpers. Another thing is to box out. Gortat is an above average offensive rebounder and can finish around the rim with ease.

Offensively, we have to play unselfishly as we have no prolific scorer to give the ball to. Our bench will be very weak if JJ starts so someone off the bench has to step up. My guess is E'Twuan Moore.

I expect a low scoring game, something like a 90-85 Suns final.

I hope E'twuan Moore steps up again tonight. I was impressed with what I saw out there by him and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as our 6th man if JJ moves into the starting rotation. Furthermore, I don't think Hedo being out will affect us too bad. We're stacked with bigs and seem to have soom versatility with our guards. I just hope Moe comes back soon. I think we'll need him for Brooklyn.

I thought Vaughn had said he intended to keep JJ as the sixth man? That being said who else can start on the wing? So maybe you're right.

Moore can start at the 2, Jones at the 3. Afflalo would play opposite whichever one starts.
