Mr.ZigZag 6 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 I decided to make a new thread on predictions for the eastern conference here's mine /explanations 1.Heat(signed Ray Allen,Lewis still have their main core) 2. Celtics(signed Collins,Wilcox,Lee,Terry, and Green, drafted Sullinger and Melo, resigned Garnett) 3. Pacers(improved depth in the center position with the signing of Ian Mahinmi, and drafting Miles Plumblee, resigned Hibbert, also drafted Orlando Johnson and signed Gerald Green) 4. 76ers(traded for Bynum, depth on the wing with JRich,Turner,Wright,Young, and the rookie Moultrie) 5. Bulls(Rose expected to return in January, expect them to improve in the standings after that also have PG Depth in Hinrich,Robinson, the rookie Teague, still have Noah and Boozer, signed Nazr Mohammad and Belinelli) 6. Nets(traded for Joe Johnson, resigned Williams,Wallace,Lopez, and Humphries, signed Watson and drafted Tyshawn Taylor) 7. Knicks(lost Jeremy Lin and traded for Felton and Camby, got older and signed a bunch of random Summer League players) 8. Hawks( lost Joe Johnson, traded for Devin Harris and signed Lou Williams, got a lot of good 3 point shooters in John Jenkins,Morrow, Korver)
Mauro Pedrosa 1,031 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 1- Miami - best team in town 2- New York - 2nd most talented IMO, slightly better than the rest 3- Indiana - They have nice depth and youth, wouldn't be surprised with a worse place though 4- Chicago - Overrated they are, but a very good reg. season team even without Rose, who's also overrated 5- Boston - They could finish much higher, Fab Melo may become a very good player playing with those guys, they don't usually shine in the reg. season 6- Brooklyn - Nice starting 5, good enough for this spot 7- Sixers - Could finish higher but not much IMO 8- Atlanta - Considered Washington for this spot too but I see ATL as a more experienced and gritty team right now

Mr.ZigZag 6 Report post Posted September 3, 2012 I have overlooked the raptors, wouldn't be surprised if they made 8th seed. Look at there team, its better then you think Lowry/Calderon/Lucas Derozan/Ross/Anderson Fields/Acy/Kleiza Davis/Johnson/Zubcic Bargnani/Valancinas I think they could make the 8th seed. They might tank though. Also the Wizards Wall/Price/Mack Crawford/Beal/Martin Ariza/Singleton/Webster Okafor/Booker/Vesely Nene/Serahphin

~O~ 565 Report post Posted September 4, 2012 What makes people think that Bulls haven't..adjusted after having a long off season. With them watching the Heat win the title without even having to face them in the playoffs, I'm sure their hungry...
My 6th Rebuild 6 Report post Posted September 4, 2012 1. HEAT (They're going to be even harder to beat) 2. 76ers (If Bynum becomes what they hope he is) 3. Pacers (Their now that team that is still a superstar away from becoming legitimate contenders) 4. Bulls (Will climb up to this spot after Rose comes back in January) 5. Knicks (Up and down) 6. Celtics (will rest their players to avoid Bulls in the 1st round and then Miami in the 2nd) 7. Hawks (will soon blow it up) 8. Wizards (Toss up between Nets and Wizards. Is Joe Johnson really a huge improvement for the Nets? I think their future depends on Brook Lopez)
Malik Buttface 57 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 You think Chicago will finish 2nd? There playing half the season without Rose. The games they played without Rose during the season were pretty damn good. Although their playoff run was atrocious, especially losing to the 76ers, I think they're going to come back guns blazing.
