First Move For Rob Hennigan?

Recommended Posts

If you were Rob Hennigan what would be the first move you would make as the Magic's new GM?

I'll see if I can drop off some of the best suggestions on his desk. Haha

Convince Dwight to stay by sharing his vision and plans and ask him for input and opinions. From there...

- Get rid of Duhon

- Try to trade Hedo

- Everything after that is bonus.

Hire Brian Shaw and ensure that he brings Jabbar with him! Then meet Dwight headon with a contract in hand!! Good topic Dan!!

Hire Brian Shaw, then get a bigger/better PG, use every contract loophole or trade possibility to bring in better help and last but MOST importantly keep Dwight Howard!

Dan, if you don't mind asking Rob if a condition of his accepting the position was based on the condition that he hire Shaw?

Well it is well known that Shaw is seen favorably by the Devos Group.........you don't see them breaking down Scott Skiles front door, or for that matter, Jerry Sloan either!!!!!

Pretty much with Addi said, outline a plan for Dwight while taking note of his opinions.

Aside from that

-get a solid SF so that Hedo's ineffectiveness can be diminished as much as possible

-pursue Steve Nash
