Magic vs. Pacers Opening Round Playoffs 2012

Recommended Posts

Alright folks. Forget tonight because it is completely irrelevant and lets get started on Saturday. We are probably going to play at 10:30 even though we are not on the West Coast and this game is 100% lock for pay-per-view.

With that said what are our expectations of this series. Predictions? Etc. Lets keep this going as one massive thread and if the Magic pull of the improbable then we will remember these good times.

I think the Magic keep it competitive but at the end do not have enough. Pacers win 4-2.

Game 1 – Saturday, April 28 @ Indiana, 7 p.m. (ESPN)

Game 2 – Monday, April 30 @ Indiana, 7:30 p.m. (NBA TV)

Game 3 – Wednesday, May 2 @ Orlando, 7:30 p.m. (NBA TV)

Game 4 – Saturday, May 5 @ Orlando, 2 p.m. (ESPN)

*Game 5 – Tuesday, May 8 @ Indiana, TBD (TBD)

*Game 6 – Friday, May 11 @ Orlando, TBD (TBD)

*Game 7 – Sunday, May 13 @ Indiana, TBD (TBD)

I'd say Pacers in 5 or 6. I wouldn't be shocked if the Magic could pull it out, especially if they win the first game. Our guys have been in a lot more playoffs than the Pacers squad - sometimes that matters.

But without Dwight? Going to be REAL hard.

If Glen is healthy I say Pacers in 6. The Magic fan in me says Magic in 7 though.

West should kill Ryan the whole series.

Baby plays well against Hibbert.

Jameer continues his good play.

JJ continues his good play.

Hedo shocks everybody and has a great series only to suck in the next.(If we win)

Those are my predictions :bigparty:

The Pacers are probably going to underestimate us and not take us serious in the 1st game since we don't have Dwight and this is why i see us winning the first game and setting the tone.

Magic in 6 or 7 book it

Ryan Anderson is going to go ham :D

Yeah - pretty sure it all comes down to that first game. If we can take that one, we'll put doubt in their minds. Detroit pulled that with us for LONG after they were a good team; I see no reason why we couldn't make a run on the Pacers.

I'll say first team that wins two games wins the series.
