He's always loved Orlando and its fans, but the way everything unraveled this year (his fault or not) cut him deep and now he doesnt even have basketball he can go to to escape Wow, that's seriously sad. Makes me want to cry. I don't mean that facetiously. Dwight probably is a really good guy. Poor thing. Comes with the territory of being in the limelight, I guess. Tell him to hang in there. Easily forgiven and forgotten. Take it from a guy who recently accused Dwight of faking the injury. Now I'm on his side wanting him to get better. He's done a lot of good in the community. Quote

Captain Hi-Top Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Its just all the stuff thats happened this year, really lately; from teammates spilling their convos to the media, to the coaching issue, to being booed at home, to players not checking on him, he's hurt physically but really hurting emotionally more Dwight needs to mature, it's no big secret, no real surprise. He needs to realize that all this drama, all this stuff going on is mostly his fault. Just own it, deal with it, rehab, and work to come back next season and get back to being a force in the league. Stop addressing and dealing with the bull **** and just really focus on playing ball. He really should call the team together, apologize to them personally for this season, for the distractions, for calling for Stan to be fired etc. He kind of let them down by letting all this happen instead of really just of focusing on playing ball. Just to be clear, if he clashes with Stan, I really don't have a problem with him going to upper management to discuss his concerns, but not other players, not turning the season into a joke with his trade demands. He really *****ed all this up, and he needs to get everyone, himself included, back on track. That would be a huge step toward working on his leadership skills and really helping this team meld together. 1 Quote

He really is, just makes mistakes and bad decisions, but anyone thats had a conversation with him knows his intentions. His goal had always, even with the trade request, been to win Orlando its 1st championship Quote
