Beast From The East Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Wow..no respect for Indiana....huh? Just like no respect for Atlanta last year..... Al right thanks man 2 Quote
Franchero MVP Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Sucks. I hope the surgery is successful. Don't leave, D12. It sucks because it seems like people are trying to run him out of town (albeit he does deserve some credit for stirring up this trouble). But I hope he stays put and honestly, i'd rather have him than anyone on this roster, including our coach. Quote
BrokenThree Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Sigh... this season just won't *****ing end Anyway, still hoping we can at least put a good fight. Quote
Magic Fan 4 Life Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Well, this really sucks. Both for our team and for him. The whole point of him opting into his contract was to have a playoff run.... Now, he can't even play. I think he has played his last game in an Orlando Magic uniform and will be traded on draft night for a top pick in the draft and a couple decent players. Quote
YaBoyR Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 I can see that hurting someone but he really needs to look within himself and ask if he's the cause for some of these issues. We all know he plays hard but Dwight needs to do some soul searching. He still has a chance to come back and be the Superman we all feel he can be. He needs to make things right with Stan because there's no better option out there. Stan has always gone to bat for Dwight. He's gotten fines for speaking up for Dwight. He puts his heart and soul into coaching. He takes responsibility for loses that he shouldn't. A piece of humble pie for Dwight would do him some good. He also needs to make right with his team because he's thrown some good players under the bus. Of course Dwight brought a lot of the negativity his way, he'd agree. Still has been hard for someone with his personality to handle whats he's been through this season. Im not sure him and Stan will ever be able to fix things again, as much as i'd love them to. Too much happened. Now things with him and some of his teammates can fixed, but not with Stan Quote
Soul Bro Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Its just all the stuff thats happened this year, really lately; from teammates spilling their convos to the media, to the coaching issue, to being booed at home, to players not checking on him, he's hurt physically but really hurting emotionally more Dude, he's acted like he hasn't cared about anyone but himself this year and now he's "hurting" because others aren't caring about him? Does he know the meaning of irony? He's hurt a ton of people this year. His best course of action is humility, commitment and hope for a championship in Orlando. 3 Quote
Beast From The East Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 John Denton @JohnDenton555Forced to play without 2 starters 2 weeks ago, #Magic adopted slogan "We're all we got."That phrase is more real than ever with Dwight done. #BEMAGICorBEGONE Quote
The Magic Man Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Oh boy, so did half the Orlando Magic staff -- at first. This back injury is apparently LEGIT, and if you read the entire thread I've argued that longer rest or highly considering surgery would be advisable. The "faking" was predicated on him "returning early" according to earlier reports, which made me believe the initial injury was fake because no one would take a herniated disc so lightly as to consider returning so early. If you read the article, the tear apparently increased (likely from rehab or weight bearing) which resulted in the need for surgery. I'm passionate about the Magic, and so are many of us here. Cut me some slack for spewing rant after watching a DVR Magic loss at 3 AM in the morning. Sorry dude,I just thought you were a joke at the time for accusing him of faking a injury. Quote
The Magic Man Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 He also needs to make right with his team because he's thrown some good players under the bus. Who? Quote

He's been a little selfish this year but i'd put that more on 'outside influences'. He's always loved Orlando and its fans, but the way everything unraveled this year (his fault or not) cut him deep and now he doesnt even have basketball he can go to to escape Quote

Arielle Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Sorry dude,I just thought you were a joke at the time for accusing him of faking a injury. No worries. It's time the Magic move on with the season without the Dwight drama. I wish him the best, and I'm open for all scenarios in the end, including him and Stan working things out. We'll see ... Quote
