Hanaway 15 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 How does getting rid of Jrich but taking on metta help us financially? Meh, not impressed We get 1 less year. Metta has 2 years while JRich 3 years.

Live or Die Magic 383 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Can somebody knowledgable here explain why trading for Brook, Humph, Marshon and picks is not a good deal? Link: Nets could still get Dwight Howard Because Lopez and Humphries would be sign-and-trade players. So, we'd be getting players that just signed extensions for who knows how much money. So, we'd have crap players that we'd be stuck with. Brooks is the only decent part of the deal. It isn't so much that the other two players are bad. They really aren't "bad." But, if you are losing Howard and gaining them, it would be nice to not have to be STUCK with them for long. But because they'd have to sign extensions and then be traded to us, it is reasonable to assume that we WOULD be stuck with them for a while. Better to have the cap space that we can spend on players of our choosing, than to be stuck long-term with another team's castoffs.
BlackWat3r 20 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Steve Kyler @stevekylerNBAI would be remiss not to remind that Metta World said if he were traded he'd have to consider retiring. Not sure if that's still his stance. Well this makes a little bit more sense haha

Like an episode of jersey shore PPV events son. Then they can have the fight's take place at the site of the old arena. Call it the Thriller in the O-Arena. It would help RDV make some $$$ up from the big ass drop in ticket sales !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :matrix:
Bang Gundy 17 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Jarrod Rudolph: After being told J. Richardson is likely to be included in any DH trade, my initial thought is the Magic no longer want to deal w/ HWNSNBU Read more: http://hoopshype.com/twitter/media.html#ixzz1zaJTqCjp I'm OK with releasing Jrich in that trade. Is there a possibility we could swap for Tyreke?
Hanaway 15 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 From Hoopsworld: The other team in LA, the Clippers, are about to sign Blake Griffin to an extension and center DeAndre Jordan can block any trade until December. While the Clippers certainly have their eye on the Howard situation, the organization is moving forward like they’re out of the Howard discussion. So no floppy Flake Griffin. Drain-O 369 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Or the fact that J-Rich is a worse contract than Hedo's. But maybe that is me.

Drain-O 369 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Seriously LA is absolutely moronic if they don't do that. Someone as fame hungry as Dwight will spend 2 days as a Laker and stay for life. Kobe/Gasol are better than any other 2 he could go to as well.
