Secretly Space Jesus 670 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 If he isn't, Matt Kalil will be. Win-win at this point. If Claiborne is off the board, and Kalil fell, if the Bucs FO has any brains at all, you take Kalil before anyone else even has time to talk about anything. Seriously, don't even give the reporters time to talk about the previous pick. When you have a shot at a potential blue chip left tackle, you jump on it immediately. But I don't see any real scenario where he's still there at 5. I think the Bucs will have their choice of Claiborne or Richardson.

NittanyBuc 757 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Where are you guys seeing anything about Lofton? I'm seeing nothing. I'm on PewterReport's message boards. Apparently the earlier reports about Lofton were premature, but a deal is still very possible.

Kalil would be the best pick this organization ever made if he did fall, but like you said, highly doubtful. Blackmon could've been their pick if he fell, but not after signing V Jax
Secretly Space Jesus 670 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 I just had the greatest conversation with my dad that he and I have ever had about football. Me: "Do you think Jackson blows out both knees the first day of training camp, or as soon as he gets on the plane?" Him: "What are you talking about?" Me: "Oh, I thought you'd have heard. The Bucs signed Vincent Jackson." Him: "Wait, Vincent Jackson?" Me: "Yeah." Him: "The receiver?!?" Me: "Yes." Him: "The one who played for San Diego?" Me: "That's the one." Him: "He wants to play for Tampa?" Me: "Just signed a contract." Him: "For football?" Me: "For football." Him: "In Tampa? With the Bucs." Me: "You've got it." Him: "WHY?!?!" Ladies and gentlemen, your Tampa Bay Buccaneers!

Trey Time 186 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Three things... 1. The Dolphins are incredibly stupid. 2. When the hell did Bucs start spending money? 3. Reggie Wayne just made the Peyton Manning saga extremely confusing.
