TrueMagicFan07 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 LAKERS TEAM AND PLAYER STATS MAGIC TEAM AND PLAYER STATS MAGIC TEAM REPORT ***BACK SPASMS KEEP HEDO TURKOGLU __OUT OF LINEUP AGAINST SPURS January 18, 2012|By Josh Robbins, Orlando Sentinel Out of necessity, the Orlando Magic altered their lineup before their game Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The team deactivated Hedo Turkoglu, who had twisted his back going for a rebound late in Tuesday's win over the Charlotte Bobcats and suffered from back spasms on Wednesday. "They had him in for treatments all day," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "He's a little bit better but not enough to go." ****ESPNCONVERSATIONS Fans' Comments Fellow Magic fans, please do not take anything out of the San Antonio game as a representation of how good our team is. We were without Hedo, playing the 3rd night in a row, and we still could have won that game despite the poor effort by everybody, except Dwight. Yes, Jameer blew chunks, again, but I'm putting our last game behind us. We are still playing great basketball, and I see no reason why we can't beat the Lakers in this game. Hopefully Hedo returns and the Magic can finally put up a go... effort wasn't the problem bro. the team combined to pull down 60 rebounds, and they played pretty good defense all night. they had no legs, and couldn't make any shots. ****Quote To Note: It's all mental. It's what you think you've got." —Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, when asked if his team might be tired Wednesday when they play for the third consecutive day. Quote
NittanyBuc Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Whoever's on Kobe better pack a lunch Quote
Jay Magic Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Hoping for the return of J Rich & Hedo for this game. At least Hedo anyway. I am gonna stand up for Jameer & say he comes out and has a really good game. Something like 15pts & 8asts. I think this is gonna be a brilliant game, & one that we WIN! Quote
Beast From The East Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Jameer needs to listen to us And prove us wrong big time Please.. Quote
Shock Phantom Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I'm really excited to watch J-Rich guard Kobe right after coming off an injury. I wish we would activate Liggins and feed him to the sharks. See how he responds. If Hedo plays I expect him to have a good game and a good fourth quarter. Quote
Beast From The East Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 ^Hedo Always guards Kobe Quote
NittanyBuc Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 ^Hedo Always guards Kobe Uhhh... No? Quote
Jay Magic Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 i think we would be really surprised with liggins if he had to guard kobe. sure kobe would school him probably but you would get maximum effort & he wouldnt back down. just to change the subject i'm reading Lebron & D Wade are both out tonight when they play the Lakers? wade is 100% out & lebron has a cold loool Quote
Shock Phantom Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 When Ryan has a cold: 30 points 7 rebounds, win When LeBron has a cold: sit out, team probably lose. Ryan>>>>>Bron Or something like that. 2 Quote
