Jay Magic Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 the old man nash will do 26/5/11 for him tonight! Quote
Shock Phantom Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Mo Williams has 7 in the first quarter and an assist. Quote
Franchero MVP Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Nash on the team would be sick, not gonna lie. Yes, his defense is suspect, but that's why we have Dwight and a good team defense philosophy. Our offense would do wonders. Our defense, with Dwight anchoring it, would still be very very good; in fact, I don't think it will change much with the way Jameers been playing as of late. He can't defend or offer anything on offense. Quote

Although, it likely doesn't matter, being that Nash won't ask to be traded. Quote
Wharf Rat Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Nash is going to decompose with this schedule structure Good point. Either way, though, it would be a huge upgrade over Jameer at this point. Quote
Captain Hi-Top Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Our offense is (was before this last game) tied for best in the league in terms of offensive efficiency. Our defense, which has traditionally been better than our offense and tops in the league has been slipping and is in the middle of the pack (18th overall). Quote
Babir_9 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 we need a PG and backup C. how do you like a trade with Cavs if we could get Sessions and Varejao? yes, of course there are better players available but I am just trying to be optimistic... Quote

Depends on the price, as does any trade Quote
Soul Bro Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 I don't want Sessions, but I would take Flop. Doubt we'd give up anything of significance for him, though. What I love about the Nash idea is that he's a creator and doesn't lock us in long-term. Even if we only have him for a year or two, he'd improve everyone around him. I'd hate to give up either JJ or Anderson in some combo, but if we got back Nash and a prospect, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Or perhaps we'd simply need to take back a bad contract from Phoenix. Either way, I'd like to see our pg position upgraded, even if it meant keeping Nelson and having him come off the bench. Quote
Murphy13 Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Jameer's going nowhere this year imo. time to upgrade where our current teams true need is-at the 3/4. Gerald Henderson and Tyrus Thomas for Jason Richardson, Earl Clark, and a 2013 1st rounder. Quote
