Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 But, I'll take anyone over the Heat. Anyone else watching the game?
Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 I guess this is the "wrong forum" in that no one will probably see this.
Captain Hi-Top 791 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 I thought I entered a time warp for a moment, because I turned the game on to listen in while I was bottling some home brew and I heard them talk about Bass, Dooling, then Pietrus all in Celtic green.
Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 Heat still can't hold onto a big lead against actual competition. Way too mercurial. Looking like they will go 66-0, then they let a team back into the game.

Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 That Norris Cole kids seems to have great potential :dustball: It helps that he gets to play alongside two guys who consistently call for double teams.
Zara 74 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 That doesn't seem to help that other kid Mario Chalmers much. Or Mike Bibby last year. Cole has shown potential, and i'm pretty sure he's gonna get minutes. I can only hope he turns out worse than Duhon, but :chairshot:
Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 That doesn't seem to help that other kid Mario Chalmers much. Or Mike Bibby last year. Cole has shown potential, and i'm pretty sure he's gonna get minutes. I can only hope he turns out worse than Duhon, but :chairshot: That's true. He is definitely a good pick up, and I'm sure spending his first season training with Lebron and Wade while still young will help him refine his game immensely. Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 In other news, Bass is playing like his old self again.
Zara 74 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 I'll miss Brandon and MP, they were entertaining guys and i wish them the best, but i just can't cheer for the Celtics... :bball: Can they be a lottery team for ever?

Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted December 28, 2011 I was watching the game but had my PC in my bedroom. Sorry :happypuppy: No worries. It was a good game, and at least showed that the Heat are beatable this year. Norris Cole had a great game, it'll be interesting to see how he develops, and whether he will be willing to be just a role player for the Big 3. I do also miss Peaches, great personality and aggressive defender. But, I'm glad we got Baby for Bass and think a few years on the Cs will be good for him. Hope our ball movement improves by February, or it'll be a long trip back from Miami.
