Ibn Battuta 127 Report post Posted October 6, 2011 i'm not a fan of apple (and by association steve jobs) but what steve jobs did in just a decade was truly amazing. From the ipod, to the iphone, to the ipad (and content deals with labels and the app store too). A true visionary.

Trey Time 186 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 yeah, let's give the man zero credit! According to you, he was just probably playing golf while apple was growing! That would be a more accurate statement than what most are saying. Everyone is acting like he was the only one behind everything. Patton Oswalt even tweeted that he was the closest thing we've ever had to Tony Stark. *****ing ridiculous. Look at it like this: Steve Jobs did everything - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - | - - - - - -- - - -Steve Jobs played golf the whole time I mean yeah, it sucks that the guy died, but let's be realistic here when it comes to the success of Apple. Ibn Battuta 127 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 but let's be realistic here when it comes to the success of Apple. okay, lets be realistic then with a little example. http://www.nasdaq.co...=&drilldown=off this chart shows the share price of apple 10 years ago, coming in at $8 in 2002. Now it is $369. small example, but realistic enough for you? Clearly jobs was playing golf and not creating value for his shareholders.
