Secretly Space Jesus Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 You would rather Dwight leave and we get nothing than to trade him? Yes. That's exactly what I'd rather do. I even explained why. Quote
Trey Time Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 The only person I would trade Dwight for is Westbrook. At least then you get a young (keyword there) star to build around. Quote

I wouldn't, and I like Westbrook. But IMO, he's not the type of star to build around. Give me Harden/Ibaka/Thabo/Maynor and a **** ton of firsts and I atleast listen. OKC of course takes Hedo or Arenas off my hands as well. And if I have to take Westbrook, I flip him for something better or more lottery picks. Quote
Berto Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 I'd rather lose Dwight than make a trade. You never get equal value, and you'd be better off as a franchise to just start from scratch when you lose a player like that. The only way I'd pull the trigger on anything is if he told me outright he wasn't signing to Orlando. Quote

Because building a franchise around an idiot midget shooting-guard who's only skill is being really fast is the smart thing to do. 2 Quote

Sounds like somebody only watches Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon talk about Westbrook as opposed to watching Westbrook play. Quote
Berto Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 What's with people calling NBA point guards midgets? Chances are, they're taller than you. 1 Quote

Miller4Prez66 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 My problem with Westbrook is he probably wouldn't want to stay in Orlando and he could just become another Steve Francis. Dude's ego is way inflated. I'm just not seeing any realistic trade scenarios that interest me at this point. Quote
I love my PTSD. Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Given the lockout, shouldn't this topic be changed to Trades that can't happen. 1 Quote
My 6th Rebuild Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 I would let Dwight walk to the cities he rather not play at such as New Jersey. His only warm weather option would be Orlando. Quote
