Okay, so an apples to apples comparison (and yes, I'm well aware that there is a lot more to defense than defensive rebounds, steals, and blocks, but it's still a good snapshot): Boozer - 7.4 drpg, .3 bpg, .8 spg Anderson - 3.4 drpg, .6 bpg, .5 spg Bass - 3.8 drpg, .7 bpg, .4 spg I stick with my original argument - he's not a great shot-blocker, has quick hands and plays smart that lead to steals, and is a fair to good rebounder. I'll grant that his higher numbers will be largely due to greater minutes, but he's still a legit starter. I like Ryno and Bass, but Boozer brings more to the table. More than just defense, he's better on offense; he's a better passer and scorer than either Bass or Anderson. He wouldn't hurt our team. Of course, it's all a moot point: we're not getting him. Quote

"I'll get surgery on Tuesday and do my rehab, be conditioned and run with the guys. The good thing about it was at least it only happened in the preseason. "It's tough. Obviously, I'm disappointed. I feel bad about it, but we got guys who can play, man. Guys will be able to step up and play. We've been practicing hard, getting ready for the preseason right now. I'm going to be there supporting them, I'll be their biggest cheerleader and sideline coach. And I'll be busting my butt trying to get back and healthy and attacking my rehab trying to get right." I like Boozer's game but do we want a guy who trips over a bag in his house, breaks his hand and is willing to be a cheerleader? lol Quote
