The Truth Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 So the other day The Truth saw that D12 would be signing his cd at the Best Buy in Altamonte from 4-6 on Saturday the 26th. The Truth got out of work at 5 so The Truth decided to take the short ride over to Best Buy to check it out. The Truth was not going to buy the cd...just try to get D12 to sign the SI that he was on the cover of a couple years back. So The Truth sees the long line and goes to see where D12 is at...after surveying the area The Truth decides to check some things out that The Truth was looking for...mainly printers and Mac stuff. As well as the video games. So The Truth leaves...but on the way to The Truth's vehicle The Truth notices the side door with the Infiniti SUV, blacked out Porsche, and Maybach. Now The Truth has a friend that has seen D12 driving a Maybach on i4...using common logic The Truth realizes that there are not that many Maybachs in the Central Florida area and with the proximity to where D12 was in the store it was for sure his, and his posse. So The Truth moves The Truth's vehicle over near D12's. And waits, and waits...and waits some more. So a little before 7 The Truth gets out and makes The Truth's way over by the door. There was a small group of people around...maybe 30-40. Only a few had items to get signed. Everyone else was happy just taking pictures. So the door pops open and random Best Buy employee says everyone needs to clear the area. So The Truth obliges...The Truth positioned The Truth between the Infiniti and the Porsche. SI out with Sharpee ready. Out come 2 bulbous white guys...old...and then D12 and one of his boys. So before The Truth can even ask for the auto younger kid...teenager comes from behind The Truth with a mini ball..."Dwight can you sign my ball"...before the kid can even finish the sentence...and he was not bum rushing D12...just reaching out with the ball...D12's boy give the kid a forearm shiver. The Truth realized that D12 was signing nothing else which is fine...it's not his obligation to sign everything...but a forearm shiver to a kid? Really? D12 did trn around and pose for about 3 seconds and say cheese so everyone could take his picture as he was getting in the car. Now The Truth would like to say this is not an attack on Dwight. He did sign in store for probably 45 minutes longer than advertised. And while outside it would have been nice to scribble your name on whatever as you walked to you car...your boy delivering a forearm shiver to a kid for asking for an autograph? The Truth was a little surprised by that. The Truth would also like to go on a Truth tangent right now. This is Orlando...not a major sports town, but with a single professional team, WITH a superstar(albeit with a still yet developed offensive game)...it can be Dwight's city. No one cared that Dwight didn't sign anything as he left Best Buy...the kid that was forearm shivered really didn't protest much...and everyone still loved D12...do you think this will happen in LA, or Boston, or NY? You will be followed and prodded and analyzed much worse than you are here Dwight. If you don't sign something or pose for a photo or have some crazy personal life, it will be found out and you will hear about it on the news, the papers, the internet...everywhere. Orlando just wants you Dwight...you can own Orlando...you can own Florida...look at the negativity that the Heat have now. FYI The Truth feels that Miami is the #4 team in the East. Boston, Chicago, Orlando, Miami...with the gap between 1 and 3 narrowing with the Perkins deal. Now Dwight...The Truth advises you to get on the phone and tell people to come to Orlando...you don't have to go anywhere, convince them to come to you. Nice weather, brand new kick ass building...for you insanely paid athletes, no state tax. Get them here Dwight. The person that was with him was doing his job by keeping this kid away from him. If Dwight was in the store for close to 3 hours signing away, he is giving his time and people should respect that. Now Truth, you have a habit of exaggerating a little, did the gentleman put his arm up to create space or did he swing his forearm up into the kids chest knocking him backwards? Quote
