Marc Acres 3:16 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 You get my personal Interweb Mod Master award for this one. I love that Stern was booed when he came here. It makes me angry that the media questioned why he was booed when he was here. I was at that game and I couldn't have been prouder of our fans. It wasn't just one section it was a good majority of the arena...a good majority that understands how he is messing up the game. It would be great if the people that are reporting on the team in this town understood a little about what is going on in the league. Quote
BMP Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Stern has done a great job making basketball family-friendly and more entertaining while at the same time destroying it completely. Quote
Bauncey Chillups Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 lulz Durant should restore anyone's faith in humanity the way he flops to the line every game. He makes Dwyane Wade blush sometimes. Quote

Marc Baby, when you suggest that the people in this town that do the reporting "UNDERSTAND" anything in relation to what is factual is wishful thinking! Point in fact....Schmitz and Bianchi both troll here to vet thier stories!! Quote

Marc Acres 3:16 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 lulz Durant should restore anyone's faith in humanity the way he flops to the line every game. He makes Dwyane Wade blush sometimes. Yeah but his skill level and the way he carries himself are very admirable. Lebron is bigger and faster so he runs past people or bowls them over, if I was showing some kid how to shoot, what moves to learn, all the things about the game that would translate if the game was called fair and defense wasn't outlawed I would show them video of Durant. The flopping and begging for calls that is rampant in the league is because Stern made the game that way. If Stern hadn't outlawed real defense this "pointless" lineup wouldn't really be a discussion, Lebron, Wade, Bosh would all be forced into jumpers, they would be forced to actually play the game. ThisIsTheYear Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Expect crickets and those things that blow by in westerns when the town is quiet and a showdown is about to go down. I can't for the life of me think of what they're called. Tumbleweed. Quote

Skywise316 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 1. The Thunder are one of the NBA's most cohesive teams.. on offense. Not defense. They defended a little last year, but NOT this year. I mean, didn't everyone at least learn this from the last Magic-OKC game where we lost 125 to 124!? Hello? Is this thing on?? 2. I mean, what's the point of this thread? That Nelson would have a hard time defending Wade? No s*$%, as would Arenas, Duhon, or any point guard, OR 95 percent of all NBA shooting guards, while we're at it. What makes the lineup tough is that it elimates Mario Chalmers & Carlos Arroyo, both of which suck. Meanwhile, Mike Miller is a decent passer and a MUCH better three point shooter than those two scrubs. They do, however, lose Mario's D. So unless the point of starting this thread is that someone like Pietr- oh wait.. that someone like Hedo should literally be the PG against Miami, then maybe there's something here to talk about. Not that Hedo would move his feet long enough to stop Wade either.... Anyway, as far as reading goes, I gave this thread 6 replies of my time, and that's more than enough. Perhaps instead of just bashing Jameer for the sake of bashing him, when he's one of only 3-4 players on the team actually playing well, maybe someone should offer. You know. Solutions. Crazy idea, I know. Quote
