How do you think this blockbuster moves will be seen, some years from now?

Competition

- Penny for Garrity, Manning, and two 1sts

- McGrady (Howard, Lue and Gaines) for Francis, Mobley and Cato

- Mike Miller for Gooden and Giricek

- Gooden, Varejao and Hunter for Battie

- Mobley for Christie

- Cato and 1st for Arroyo and Darko

- Francis for Penny expiring and Ariza

- Ariza for Evans and Cook

- Cook, Foyle and 1st for Rafer

- Rafer, Battie and Lee for VC and Anderson

I think, because of the amount of awful significant trades we've made in Orlando's history, that this would rank top 3 just now, even before they play, only behind the Ariza and Rafer steals. And hopefully has the potential to be the best trade ever. Which, by our trading standars, should not be so difficult to achieve, but it could turn out to be a season-changer, just like the Alston move was.

That's depressing.

The best trade could have been Francis for Penny's expiring and Ariza, but that cap room became Shard's fertility drugs and Ariza went on to kill us in the Finals.

My hope is that it has as much impact as the Rafer move. My concern is that it has the potential to turn out like the Francis move only worse because now we actually have something to lose as we are not a rebuilding team.

Man most of those trades were horrible. I even felt bad when this trade went through, because I'm used to having my gut cut out after a trade... then it just hit me, this might be good.

This has to be one of the best trades of this franchise. At least on paper. We'll have to see the final product on the floor, not tonight, but in a few weeks time when we have our backup big(s)

I don't know what the best one has been, but I know the worst: First Round Pick that became Amar'e Stoudemire and Bo Outlaw for a 35-year-old Jud Buschler who never played. That is just epic bad!

And unless I am mistaken I think that pick was originally Phx's pick. We gave them back a first rounder.
