What in the world was Blount doing on that play? 250 pounder trying to bounce it off tackle with a clear hole for the 1st. Thought the Bucs were going to find another way to win 4 sure. Oh well, thats the beauty of having no expectations for them, it all gravy.

Our defense played horrible, and our offense was inconsistent. Despite that, we nearly beat a very good Falcons team on the road. We obviously aren't "there" yet, but we are on our way.

Blount admitted after the game he made a huge mistake and that had he just done as the play asked they would have won. Felt bad for the kid. But that's the reason why he still splits reps with Caddy even though he is clearly the better runner. Caddy does not miss assignments. In fact on several of Josh's long bomb touchdown passes I remember Caddy picking up blitzers to give Josh the split second he needed.
