If Delfino keeps his current level, he may be able to duplicate what Manu could bring to the team, therefore focusing in getting to the Semis or Finals.

 

Our big disadvantage is the lack of quality big men outside of Scola, but if Chapu Nocioni is at 100%, he, Delfino and Prigioni could get us somewhere.

Watching this makes me wish that we had at a chance at getting Rudy Gay. He has a very smooth style of play would have been a great asset for the team this year.

 

However, if this is the USA's "B" team - its going to be dangerous to see what could happen if we combine parts of our A team with our B team.

 

Brazil is looking pretty good right now, will be interesting to see how this young team responds. Durant and Rose take over thats my guess. USA wins but its by less than 10.

It was sad watching Arroyo play hurt at the SG spot towards the end of the game against Russia, particularly knowing that we have 3 guys that could have done a much better job.
