This won't happen. We already have our starting PG, we'd lose our starting SG in this scenario, and Vince's expiring contract is too valuable for us right now considering we're way over the cap.

What is funny is the Wiz fans saying they should get gortat or a draft pick in addition to vince....what the heck why not ask for howard and stuff too. Do they not realize the guy is damaged goods with a giant long term contract for an asset (expiring contract). If anything they have to pony up a pick. Man I didnt think there was a more ignorant group of fans than the cavs but here they are!

Ehh I wouldn't do it... Just stick with VC for the whole season til his contract expires or trade him during the season for something better than what would be an undersized shooting guard who's missed nearly entire seasons due to injury/stupidity.

Yah, the deal makes no sense from our perspective, I honestly don't believe Gil has that much more than Vince in the tank, and that contract is horrible - no way we wanna lock ourselves into that.

R U Kidding. Before the incident last year Gil was averaging 22.7 pts., 7.2 assists, 4.2 rebs. This was after two injury plagued years.
