I think VC will be an all-star next year, or should I say, start in the Eastern all-star team.

 

The past two years he didn't start because Allen Iverson (laughs) had more votes. And VC is still pretty popular, more than the deserving Derrick Rose or even John Wall.

 

And Joe Johnson sucks, btw. Joe earning more than LBJ just makes me sick.

I tend to agree with the OP. I think Vince has shown a lot of hesitation fully committing to the slash (pulling up ridiculous jumpers, jacking up dumb 3's etc.) and I think the reason is because he genuinely fears injury.

 

Considering this next season could be his last hurrah, it won't surprise me if he goes balls to the wall vinsanity and either ends up playing great or getting seriously injured. Either one of those scenarios should make the VC haters happy...right?

Vince Carter will not start over Joe Johnson next year, unless he decides to put up 20/5/5, which is unlikely. Not only that, but the guard votes next year will be stacked.

 

My guess:

 

 

Guards: Chris Paul (after he gets traded to the Magic), Rondo, Rose, Wade, Joe Johnson

 

Forwards: LeBron, Granger, Amar'e, Josh Smith, Boozer, Bosh

 

C: Howard, Bogut

 

 

fillers (injuries): Brook Lopez, Iggy, Horford, Gerald Wallace, Pierce, KG

 

 

 

Now, this is what I think based on votes, my All-Star team would be:

 

 

PG: Rondo, Rose

SG: Wade, Joe Johnson

SF: LeBron, Wallace, Granger

PF: Amar'e, Bosh, Josh Smith/Horford (Horford is improving every year and could be up on my list depending on how he's doing by the break)

C: Howard, Bogut

they talk about how the food is good, but then you show up and you find out all of the food is overcooked, and the review you read for the place happens to be 4 years old. the service looks like they would be a sharp group, but during the end of the night they start to mentally check out and just go through the motions.
