Darrell_Armstrong Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Since Luke is signing with the T-Wolves for 4 years/16 million, which is close to Duhon's deal, do you guys think Otis made the right back-up point decision? At first I was disappointed to hear that Ridnour's deal was so low, because he was my top option behind CJ Watson. However, in looking at their stats for last year (which was considered Luke's best and one of Duhon's worst), perhaps we made the right choice. http://www.basketball-referenc...p2=duhonch01&y2=2010 What do you all think? DuhonsEmptyLiquorBottle Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I think Duhon will be a solid backup. Especially defensively. Quote
Fultz4thewin Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Duhon is better defensively. Ridnour is better shooting the 3. Duhon fits a need. Quote
Ibn Battuta Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Ridnour is just really small, i think he's (much) smaller then jameer Quote
Penny Hardaway's Ghost Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 either would have been fine, both are equal on the talent radar IMO, one is a better offensive talent in terms of individual scoring while the other is better defensively, neither player is great therefore their strong points negate one another. 30Assists Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Ridour's knock has been horrific defense and, from his time here in Seattle, he was a great ballhandler who sometimes made real odd decisions. Quote

ohiomagicfan Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Ridnour is Jason Williams. Good passer, good shooter, but skinny and terrible on defense. Duhon is what we needed. He is an all-around very good backup point guard. I like Duhon better and feel it was the perfect signing as a guy to play behind Jameer. Quote
Murphy13 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 This isnt really related and doesnt deserve its own thread, but Shaun Livingston is signing with Charlotte: http://blogs.charlotte.com/ins...sign-livingston.html I had the unrealistic hope that he would find his way onto our roster as a 2nd/3rd pg. I like the Duhon signing, but Livingston is a very talented player. As for the topic at hand: Duhon. That all being said Ridnour recieved a lot of interest from other teams this offseason, he is a solid player. Quote
ManuGinobili Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I like Ridnour. Of Duhon I dont know much apart from the 22 assist game. Lets see how this develops. Quote
