TheRevTy Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 While this clearly fits into any number of Boozer topics currently on the board, I said I would start a new thread if I heard any info from Magical, so here it is. I asked him about Boozer, and he said he's been asked by a few people about it. It is definitely something the Magic are interested in - as I said in the first post this offseason. However, it clearly takes two to tango. We'll offer Vince to Utah for a Boozer sign and trade - and probably some draft picks. Utah might want Vince because they really lack a wing presence, and he's essentially an expiring contract, so if he isn't the solution, they haven't lost a ton - and could even flip him at the deadline. They are a contending team and thus Vince might make sense. The struggle is that they may be more interested in just letting Boozer go and come off the books, thus negating the ability to get a sign and trade. Quote
Hank Moody Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 If it dumps Vince I am all for this. I am not a huge Boozer fan but we could do a lot worse + this would mean Shard will play the 3 a lot more. This would be a huge move for both teams. Quote
TheRevTy Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 He did say it appears to be more of a possibility than he originally heard. If we could trade Vince for Boozer, that leaves us with all of our other trade pieces for a swingman. Say.... Gay? Don't know how we could get Bird. And another thing, why did you use Hedo as Larry's body? Ryan makes much more sense. He even wears Bird's number! Quote
Penny Hardaway's Ghost Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 pulling off not only one major S&T, but another in the same season? very possible... Quote
Jareth Cutestory Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 That's Larry's body. I used Hedo's jersey in a picture of him taking a fadeaway. And I don't think those are minor tweaks. Quote
UBBALLER8 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 I like Boozer but he also needs to prove he isn't made of glass... Quote

Natesroom Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 My insider person has contacts with people at the RDV and Magic management... Jareth Cutestory Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 My source tells me that Otis is most likely going to sign a player this offseason. I'll have more details in a month or two. Quote
