Edit: this is not to say that I am a Dwight fan only. I have been a fan of this franchise since I moved here just over 16 years ago. Followed them through the "heart and hustle" days, thought we might have something when T-Mac and Grant Hill were here. But, if we lose our franchise player again (because we are a small market team, and thus undeserving of having marquee talent), I will be done. I'll just follow the Lightning during the NFL offseason...

 

Don't completely lose hope yet, man.

 

Cleveland looks to be crashing down and soon hopefully Boston's key players, apart from Rondo, will fossilize. Maybe next year we'll have a better shot, and our team will have had time to build chemistry together. Maybe Dwight will be even better. Maybe Kobe will retire and play tennis or something.

 

Next year does seem more realistic, but this year seemed like THE year... I'm not too worried only because at least the team didn't lay down like the Cavs did.

 

And it is hard to put down the tin foil hat when you see your team's key players getting into foul trouble for doing absolutely nothing.

So, Derosa was possibly scheduled for game 3, they suspend him and bring in Bavetta to turn the tides and make this a series!!!

I'm with you...I haven't lost hope yet, I still think we can make a series of this. And, perhaps, next year we can make another strong run.

 

I just hope that Dwight is sincerely committed to this city...I'm hoping he follows the path of David Robinson and Tim Duncan, rather than Shaquille O'Neal.

I think he got off a little easy on that one, being that it was completely unprofessional...he could have, just as easily, ignored the dude and walked off.

Just a side note on the book any one of us fans could have written what he did and it is quite similar to all conspiracy theories of the NBA. So we must ask is it written for attention or truth? I have no clue to the answer. I just say if it is all true why would Jordan want to buy a small market team?

I have to agree, the NBA is going to lose a lot of fans the way things are going and the way these fouls are being called, I have been a fan for a long time and an Orlando Fan since day one. But they don't respect a small market, and They will not give the respect to Dwight that they do other players it is all seen to much. The Refs are bad, ever since what his name got thrown in jail he said some games wer fixed and I still believe it. The NBA sucks! I have always been an NFL fan and I can't stand the way they call the NBA games it's crooked...
