Actually, I think Halford is extremely overrated, a terrible singer, and just plain awful. Most of the old metal is still decent, but to say they're metal gods is silly.

 

Not only that, but it's way too redundant. Thrash metal riffing is fun for only about 20 minutes, yet all of these bands do it for hours.

 

 

 

Also, stop trying to break it all down to the vocals. That's hardly what metal's about anyways. If your only argument as to why newer bands aren't as good is because of the "cookie monster vocals", then you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Actually Kip can still sing. Don's voice is completely shot.

Ok BMP..last try with the Halford. I listened to your stuff. If you say this song sucks then I don't know what to tell you. Bobby Jarzombek is considered the best metal drummer in the world by many. Metal Mike and Patrick Lachman are two of the heaviest riffers in the biz. Rob is well.. Rob.
