God hates Magic fans 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 if we can get him without giving up a core player, do it ASAP
Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 Lets give the guy credit. The trade isn't outlandish and gortat isn't overvalued. If we could do this as well as bring in a backup big then this would be a pretty decent trade.
Ryan-Aussie Magic 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 While I like Randolph, he's a skinny PF woth ball handling skills. We give up Gortat and we have Foyle backing up Dwight.... Must get a C of decent quality before we give up Tat
Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 Gortat + AJ and a 1st for Watson and Randolph I'd do that in a milisecond.
Osprey 199 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 This trade is outlandish, in fact. GSW would never trade Randolph. Especially not for the Polish Monkey Wrench.
Penny Hardaway's Ghost 260 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 yea GSW has use for another PG, even if it's expiring...

And apparently you didn't know that Nelson could play five guards in the game at any given time.

But he doesn't fill a need.
Mr Charisma 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 Golden State would never trade for Gortat because Don Nelson has made a career out of using the excuse that the only reason he never won anything is that he has never had a true big man whereever he went. He won't jeopardize losing that excuse. BTW, when he was in a position to obtain a big man, he drafted..... Shaun Bradley. But it's still everyone else's fault.
