Gortat no happy

Well we all knew he would be unhappy if he stayed here. He doesn't want to be a backup his whole career. But he's been playing like a backup. If he wants to be traded then he needs to really step up his game.

Reasons Gortat shouldn't be unhappy:

 

-Playing on a contender

-Playing with the deepest roster in the league; on a winning team

-Won't have to put up superstar numbers take on the pressure of a higher role

-Getting paid millions to just be in attendance

-being able to never worry about starving

-he plays in Florida

-

Maybe if Gortat would actually play without making some many turnovers, maybe SVG would give more time. I cringe everytime he comes on the court. A 25 point lead is cut to 10 in no time when Gortat is on the court.

I appreciate where Gortat is coming from. Who's happy sitting on the bench? But, this isn't the time, or way to address it. You aren't doing yourself any favors by moping when you do play either!

 

This is my problem with professional athletes like Gortat. They want the best of both worlds. They want the security of a contract AND the freedom of a FA.

 

If finding a team you can start for was your #1 priority, don't sign an offer sheet Orlando can match. If you can't find one they can't, sign the 1 year deal with Orlando, play it out, and then move on. Don't take the $ & b**** until they trade you.

He's got 0 offense, and barely any defense this season. Why the hell would we give him more minutes? He'd be embarassing himself and Poland.

SVG said Gortat effort isn't what it used to be in last season and he admits beeing mentaly down, for me it's humble. I know, you think every Magic player have to have orgasms only becouse of the fact he sits on bench in Orlando, sorry I dissagree

 

Some part of that mentaly down is for sure Magic maching Mavs offer sheet but Marcin isn't saying that so there could be much more negativity and bad air around. He have right to be unhapy, developent of his career is on hold here in Orland, in Dallas he had a genuine chance for starting in perfect system for him, Otis matched, that's just NBA businesss but he have right to be unhapy becouse of that and as long as he's adressing about obvious leaving in respectfull way, what the hell is wrong with that ?

Someone could explain for me that alleged negativity ? Yeah I know orgasms from sitting on bench in Magic uniform, that's no negativity.

 

 

What Gortat basicly said ? What everyone knows, he isn't in Orlando for long, he knows that, fans know that, managment knows that and planed that too.

Don't give him for nothing, we will trade him soon, to big and to long contract for a backup behind best centeaker in NBA.

He don't have right to say things obvious for everyone ? He is to expensive for Magic and able to fullfill bigger role in many NBA roasters so at some point he want to be traded.

 

 

When I look on last Warriors game Gortat effort was much better, especially two plays made me feel good.

Way behind play after his own turnover but still catching Warriors fast break, turing Golden State easy layup or dunk to steal, and second after Warriors basket runing from baseline to fast break, overtaking Warriors guards, catching really difficult 2/3 court pass and finish, flying dunk. All at lighting speed for a center.

Overall good game for a backup , without big numbers but that's not what is expected from Marcin, effort, hustle, good D and he showed that, it was Gortat from last season.

If he shows that on the floor, not moan about leaving but adress it in respectfull way I don't see nothing wrong here.

 

BTW: Sorry for my english, yeah I'm from Poland, I'm a Gortat fan, originally I was Gortat tag along not true Magic fan but now I know, when he leaves it still will be my favourite team.

Gortat makes me mad when he is on the court. He plays incredibly soft and without effort. "Butterfingers" describes him perfectly.
