Wharf Rat Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 **** Doc Rivers...whats with him throwing his $.02 out there? Who freakin cares what he has to say? The dude is crappy coach, period. If it weren't for him having a roster that is stacked with talent...he would be exposed as the worthless coach that he is. Quote

Amen. I'm tired of people acting like Rivers is an elite coach. Quote

I watched him get outcoached, on a regular basis, here in Orlando...he sucks, period. Quote
TheGreen1 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Hmm, now we gotta think about this... who is a better coach? Doc Rivers or Mike Brown? Honestly though, I gotta go with Rivers. At least his team won an championship while under him. Even so, Van Gundy is still >>>>>>> Rivers. Quote
kwizzle29 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 To be fair Doc Rivers is a good motivator.. his players like him. But, he is far from being anything close to a good x's and o's coach. Stan Van Gundy can out coach him any day of the week. Quote
Skywise316 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Doc is an alright coach, a player's coach, but not one that excels in Xs and Os. Definitely better than Mike Brown, but that's not saying much. I doubt Doc Rivers is a top 10 coach in the NBA. A lot of Boston's defensive success has nothing to even do with Doc. Quote
BMP Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Lol, this is so dumb. It's almost like they use our 2-0 since he has "softened" as a direct correlation to how the team has played and looked out there. Quote

You can see the difference on the court. Quote
